WELL children,
we accomplished alot this year, and next year will be pretty much 1000 times better ... right?

I am finally away from the hideousness of Eisenhower ...
But the dream of freedom and equality for all humans shall not die (like everything else eventually does). BECCA and ALISHA have taken over the HRC, and they will lead you all to victory.
They and the rest of the group have some amazing ideas.

Eisenhower and the world will be changed forever by their light.
DO NOT ever let yourselves be trampled by society or those that claim to be it! Never let an act of hate or violence get any of you down, and remember to bring justice to those acts. Use their own weapon of hate against them by bringing it to attention to the faculty and students, making school safer and more comfortable for ALL STUDENTS!

Sometimes things happen that will get you down enough that you feel there is no hope, But always remember what you all strive for, and that that passion can't die, no matter how badly scarred it can become. Let your hearts guide you in times of need. You are all together in this, so be there for eachother and dont be afraid anymore.

Fear can and has broken people's hopes and dreams, but with your time on this planet you must try to not let it destroy you. THIS IS OUR WORLD TOO and it IS worth fighting for.

Remember: ADVERTISE (let people know what HRC is about, so more people can join), ORGANIZE (stay focused on your goals and find out ways to make them happen), and WORK TOGETHER ( be supportive of eachother and make sure everyone can take part in group activities)

You most likely havent seen the last of me, so it will be nice to see you all again getting stuff out there all by your selves (snif snif). Have a great summer rest everyone, and stay safe!

world AIDS day
today is world AIDS day, reminding the world of the people out there who live with the virus everyday.

there are 38 million adults and 2.3 million children living with HIV, and during 2005 some 4.9 million people became newly infected with the virus. Around half of all people who become infected with HIV do so before they are 25 and are killed by AIDS before they are 35.

so i couldn't come to today's meeting.

you have no idea how sad that makes me.

i baked brownies and everything lol...

but more importantly, there was a lot that i was hoping to discuss/get some opinions on. i've had lots of issues in my house lately regarding my sexuality...and it's just making life in general really hard. i guess we can just save that for next week if there's time. (if i can make it...for the next 2 weeks i'm going to be really busy with theatre because Halloween Screams is opening at the end of the month. i'm one of two prop crew heads and boyyy, we still have lots to do.)

i wrote about most of the talks my parents had with me in my journal... so if any of you feel like reading about it, i'd be glad to add you.
my dad also said he doesn't want me to be a part of the human rights group. but f that. there is no way he's going to stop me. i'll live at the school if i have to. you all know how much i love it. all of the fights with my parents just make me want to be stronger and fight harder.

i made more posters. two of the other ones i put up before seem to be gone. someone told me that "people have been taking them down because they're mad" ... i'm not sure how true that is, but for whatever reason they're disappearing.

so i made three more. i hope that's ok.

that's about it, see you around ♥

WELCOME back...
well as the hideousness of school falls upon us once again, there is one thing to lift our spirits.. the RETURN OF HUMAN RIGHTS GROUP.

It is not the official first meeting, but it is a meeting about the royal oak AIDS walk this week. Not much is known about this walk, but i shall look into it and spread the information like a terrible terrible virus, except it will be good.

so,everybody, spread the word about the eisenhower human rights club! My goal is to get everyone motivated so that when i die or graduate there will still be human rights club. Lots of crazy shits gonna go down this year! So feel free to post and tell everyone how awsome human rights club is.

Well children, it has been grand seeing all of you at the Eisenhower Human Rights Group. We finally got started, and next year we shall do SO MANY more crazy crazy things. I hope everyone had fun and is looking forward to next year. REMEMBER, any ideas about the group you can post here, or write them down or something. I hope everyone has a decent summer even though summer is horrible and hot. Remember, you COULD get skin cancer any second, be safe: where sunblock and avoid the hideous sun as often as you can. It will get you and the people you love most when you least expect it. ALSO remember that PRIDE FEST is Sunday in ferndale. WE shall prevail!

Have A spooky summer.

THIS IS TOMORROW!! 4/13/05!!!!!

The Day of Silence, a project of the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) in collaboration with the United States Student Association (USSA), is a student-led day of action where those who support making anti-LGBT bias unacceptable in schools take a day-long vow of silence to recognize and protest the discrimination and harassment -- in effect, the silencing -- experienced by LGBT students and their allies.
